Youth Care Specialties

  1.  Participate in formulating general policies for cultural, artistic, sports, and social activities for students.
  2. Develop executive plans for various activities within the limits of regulations, laws, and work system instructions.
  3. Encouraging talented students in various activities.
  4. Organizing cultural and artistic activities by holding seminars, lectures, conferences, and festivals.
  5.  Conducting social research for students and assisting them in overcoming any social problems they may encounter.
  6. Organizing various exhibitions held by university students.
  7. Supervising college student unions and reviewing their meeting minutes and resolutions.
  8. Organizing matches, competitions, tournaments, and sports festivals, and maintaining refereeing records and recording match results.

Student Union

Objectives of Student Unions
  1. Strengthening social ties between students, staff members, and their assistants.
  2. Developing spiritual and moral values and national awareness among students.
  3. Disseminating and organizing various activities, fostering leadership skills, and encouraging high achievers.
  4. Solving student problems in a manner consistent with university regulations.
  5. Encouraging students to acquire diverse talents, abilities, and skills.
  6. Providing opportunities for responsible expression of their opinions.

-Must be an Egyptian citizen of good reputation.
-Must have paid the Union fees.
– Must be a first-year student in their program and not repeating a year
-The candidate must not have been previously sentenced to a term of imprisonment or have had their membership in any student union or its committees suspended.
-The candidate must be notably active in the field of work of the committee for which they are nominated

Social Solidarity Fund

• The student must be of Egyptian nationality.

Note: Students wishing to receive assistance from the faculty should go to the Student Welfare Department at the faculty to obtain the necessary forms

Student Activities

Vision

Universities have become interested in student activities because scientific studies have proven that students who participate in various activities have the ability to achieve higher academic achievement than students who do not.
Participating in activities also gives participants strength and agility, developing physical and mental abilities.

1. Providing students with the opportunity to develop their diverse abilities and talents. 2. Enhancing social interaction among students through participation in various activities. 3. Acquiring individual and athletic skills and developing students’ leadership qualities. 4- Preparing a generation of well-rounded youth and leaders qualified to lead with awareness and sensitivity to societal, environmental, and national issues. 5- Encouraging students to contribute to serving their local and national communities. 6- Developing students’ cognitive skills, mental abilities, and self-confidence through available cultural activities. 7. Making good use of free time for the benefit of students and the surrounding community. 8. Strengthening relationships among students and between them and the faculty’s staff members through the formation of student families. 9. Fostering outstanding scientific talents in creativity and innovation and assisting them in implementing these talents in student projects that benefit youth and society. 10.To provide high-quality programs for preparing qualified teachers in the field of art education and conducting scientific research in this specialization

Preparing a high-quality academic, educational, and professional lecturer in the field of art education who possesses the competencies specific to his field, both theoretically and practically, to contribute significantly to the development of his local community through the performance of his educational and research mission that develops the field of quality education

Sports Activities

This activity aims to encourage students’ athletic talents and foster teamwork among them. It includes organizing matches and sports festivals, and features:
-Team sports (football, basketball, handball, volleyball, five-a-side football, etc.)
-Individual games (wrestling, boxing, fencing, judo, road racing, table tennis, fitness competitions, Ramadan tournaments, refresher courses, etc.).

This activity aims to develop the cultural talents and literary hobbies of students, and includes activities such as (poetry recitation, folk poetry, short story, the Holy Quran, general information, cultural research, wall magazines, articles, Arabic calligraphy, literary criticism, and religious seminars)

This activity aims to develop artistic talents, raise artistic standards, and showcase students’ talents in various art forms. The activity includes (playing instruments, singing, sculpting, religious chanting, choir, music, theater, model making, visual arts, imitation, handicrafts, Arabic calligraphy, and photography) Design – Fine Arts – Handicrafts – Knitting and Embroidery – Folk Art – Caricature – Drawing – Paintings).

 

These activities aim to develop and strengthen social bonds between students and staff. They include activities such as chess, social research, Orphan’s Day, summer camps, entertainment events, and orientation parties for new students at the beginning of each academic year Graduation and honoring ceremonies – Closing ceremony of activities – Election victory celebrations – and selection of the ideal male and female student).

This activity aims to develop students’ talents and abilities through scientific and technological research. The activity includes activities (General Information – Best Science Fiction Story – Best Scientific Research CD – Scientific Seminars – Best Electronic Project Idea – Aviation and Space Sciences – Electronics)

This activity aims to develop students’ leadership skills, cultivate self-reliance and responsibility among young people, guide them towards commitment and prompt response to national and social duties and public service, and instill a spirit of community and respect for others. The activity includes various activities
(Public service camps – sports activities – cultural – artistic – social activities – scouting competitions – scouting information – camping trips)

This activity aims to foster a spirit of cooperation, brotherhood, and friendship among the students; coordinate and supervise activities among the faculty’s families; highlight and develop students’ talents; and assist families in organizing their various activities
Encouraging sound thinking among students through competitions held between student families, forming cooperative groups, and providing multiple opportunities for students to test their skills, discover and develop their talents, and guide them in the right direction. The activity includes various activities
The right to organize courses in sports, cultural, artistic, scientific activities, and get-togethers between students of the same family and between families

Conditions for joining the student families:

-The number of students participating in a family must be no less than 20 and no more than 50.
-Families must not be based on ethnic, tribal, or sectarian grounds
-A family leader may not lead more than one family at a time.
-Each family has a governing board composed of the following members: (Family Leader – Coordinator – Assistant Coordinator – Treasurer – Activity Coordinators).
-The family submits its activity plan for the year, along with a list of student names and addresses, and the name of the family leader
Students, their addresses, and the name of the family leader.
-The family activity is organized through the activity coordinator (the head of the Family Committee within the Student Welfare Department) and must be submitted three days in advance for approval by the Dean of the faculty, endorsed by the family leader.
-Families must be registered within two months of the start of the academic year.
-Family members must have paid their student union dues
-The student’s full name, address, and ID number must be clearly stated.
-All forms and statements mentioned above must be stamped with the official seal

Family Membership File Components

-Approval of the Dean of the faculty to form the family.
-Approval of the family leader to lead the family.
-Lists of students wishing to join the family, including the student’s full name, year, address, and telephone number (landline and mobile). Approved by the Student Welfare and Student Affairs Department, the family leader, the Family Committee advisor, the Vice Dean of the faculty, and the Dean of the faculty
-The lists are sent to the Family Activities Department at the Central Student Welfare Administration for approval by the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
-The lists must be accompanied by a copy of the student’s national ID card, a copy of their university ID card, and a personal photograph

-A list of the Family Council members, including:
-Family Leader (Faculty Member)
-Family Coordinator (Student)
-Family Secretary (Student)
Treasurer (Student)
-Activity Coordinators from the Family for each activity (Cultural, Artistic, Sports, Family, Social, Scouting, Scientific and Technological) (Student).
-The Family’s activity plan for the first and second semesters is approved

General Conditions

-The Dean of Student Affairs is the general coordinator of the established student groups.
-No student group may conduct any activity without prior registration.
-Any actions that violate university regulations will subject the student group to disciplinary action and suspension.
-No activity may be conducted within three days of receiving final approval from the faculty and university administration
-A female student supervisor is nominated by the family leader for trips and student activities
